Valley Stream

Valley Stream part of Nassau County, New York, is a village with a population of 37,511 as of the 2010 census. It is located inside the southwest part of the Town of Hempstead, and is mainly served by the Long Island Rail Road located at the Sunrise Highway and Franklin Avenue.


Elmont is situated in northwestern Hempstead in Nassau County, NY, having a border with the borough of Queens in New York City. It is an unincorporated suburban bedroom community located on Long Island with a population of nearly 33,000 according to the 2010 census.
